Studio Palette - John Pike palette, or a Holbein folding metal palette.

Field Palette - Winsor & Newton Field Sketch Box filled with Winsor & Newton half pans or Craig Young Palette with Holbein tube paint.

 

Brushes - Kolinsky Sable watercolor round brushes: nos. 6 round, 8 round, 10 round, 1 Rigger.

 

Paper - 140# Fabriano 100% cotton watercolor paper (cold press) and 140# Arches (hot press) with Masonite board and Boston clips.

 

Drawing - Pentel P209 0.9 mechanical pencil with 2B lead, Sanford Uniball Micro pen, Pentel Sign Pen and a Mars Staedtler plastic eraser.

 

Water container

The brushes Joseph uses are primarily Kolinsky Sable watercolor round brushes
For drawing, Joseph uses Pentel P209 0.9 mechanical pencils, micro pens and plastic erasers
